What does consignment mean here?
You send us a card, and it stays yours until it sells. We inspect, list, sell and ship it, then pay you your tier share.
How is my payout calculated?
Per card: (sale price − selling fees) × your tier. Tiers: 84% ($200–$499.99), 88% ($500–$749.99), 90% ($750–$999.99), 95% ($1,000+). Try the Payout Estimator on the Payouts page.
How and when do I get paid?
PayPal, Venmo, Cash App or check; you pay any service fees. Paid within 30 days after your card sells.
Is there a minimum card value?
Yes: $200 per card.
What kinds of cards do you accept?
Sports and trading card game singles, raw or graded. No lots, bulk or sealed product.
Can I send several cards?
Yes. One card per submission; submit each card separately.
Are there any other fees?
No listing or upfront fees. Your payout is your tier share of the sale price minus selling fees.
Does Collectaverse keep the sales tax?
No. Sales tax is collected and kept by eBay based on the buyer’s location. Collectaverse never receives or keeps sales tax.
Who pays shipping?
You pay to ship your card to us. We pay outbound shipping.
Should I insure my card?
Yes, we highly recommend it. We’re not responsible for carrier loss or damage, and we refuse packages that arrive visibly damaged or that USPS marks as empty.
Where do I ship my card?
Shipping address is emailed after you submit.
How should I pack my card?
Penny sleeve and top loader (slabs as is), wrapped in bubble wrap, in a clamshell-type box. No bubble mailers.
Will you confirm my card arrived?
Yes, within 72 hours of arrival, excluding weekends.
Do you authenticate my cards?
Yes. Every card is checked for identity, condition, alterations, reprints and counterfeits before listing.
What happens to ineligible cards?
Cards under $200, counterfeit, altered, trimmed, or failing our quality check or Authenticity Guarantee are returned at your cost.
Auction or Buy It Now?
We pick the best format for each card, usually auction.
Can I bid on my own card?
No.
What if my card doesn't sell?
We relist it up to 3 times. If it still doesn’t sell, it’s returned with no fee; you pay return shipping only.
Can I take my card back before it sells?
Yes, if it’s not in a live auction and has no pending sale. Once an auction starts, it can’t be cancelled. No fee; you pay return shipping only.
What if my card is damaged or lost while with you?
If we damage or lose it, email us a claim within 14 business days. We review our video records, and if we’re responsible we pay up to its value from comparable sales. Carrier damage isn’t covered.
What if the buyer doesn't pay?
We relist it or treat it as unsold. No payout is due on an unpaid sale.
What if a sale is reversed after I'm paid?
If a buyer return or chargeback reverses a sale, you repay that payout as set out in the agreement.
How do I accept the terms?
Submitting the form, with the agreement box checked and your initials, is your acceptance.
